I miss you very much and I am not Ok without you. The love we had for each other was true and the time in our lives were meant to be. Time before we met was only for time and thereafter, was our love story only we shared. The precious moments will never be forgotten and my love for you will forever be.

I miss you and will always remember the sweet memories of you. One fond memory is when you visited me in NC on your way to Florida and we wanted to go to Tenn. and get married secretly. No one knows if we did or not till this day. The wonderful few days we had spent and more when you came back on your way to NJ.

He came to me in a dream and in that dream, he stood there and I was searching through books and newspapers. Days and weeks had gone by and one day, I was sitting in my home and he came to me and said...look for me. So, I did and found that Tommy had passed. My heart sank and tears ran down my cheeks. I loved him with all my heart and soul. So many memories of Tommy and times spent together. I will miss him so very much. It has been a year and it only seemed like yesterday that we met. Such a gentlemen he was. I will miss him and most of all, loved him very much. A very huge void in my heart.

We will always remember Tom. Roger on the golf course and as a colleague at work.Judy as the best chef on earth. I will never forget his asobuco and barbeque. He was the kindest man we knew. He never said a negative thing about anyone. He was always cheerful. Our only regret is that we won't have him in our lives anymore and that we really only got to know him well in the last five years. He was one of a kind. Not to be replaced. We love you Edie and pray you can break through your sorrow someday and have peace knowing you were the best partner Tom could have had.

Edie, I am sorry to say I just found out (8/26) and was devastated to hear about Tom. I saw him last year when my dad died and it was such a pleasant surprise to see him at the rectory. He always had a wonderful smile and kind words. He will be missed by all. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to you and your family. I have such fond memories of all the times on Wynnewood Drive. Maria

I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Tommy's unexpected death. He and I were close friends in grade school at St Pauls and BK as well as fellow Scouts in troop 41. The last contact I had with him was when I was in forestry school and he was at Belmont Abbey and he would send me leaves from various trees on campus that I needed for my Dendrology class leaf collection. I wish that we had stayed in touch following his graduation but I was drafted and he went on to grad. school and we lost touch with each other. God speed,, Tommy

My deepest sympathy to you, Edie, as well as to Christina and Kimberly and their families. I recall a time ago when we opened Mennies School back in 1979, and the pipe broke in my classroom spewing water all over the quad. As you can imagine in a room full of 2nd graders, the children were slipping and sliding in a flooded room with electrical outlets on the floor! Tom stopped over and accessed the situation and in his very calm manner asked me: "Annette, how did you manage to do this?" It was a light hearted response to an otherwise very stressful situation. There were other times also, where Tom had the answer to a budget question immediately at his disposal....it is amazing how now we have a whole accounting department to take care of what Tom handled by himself. I know he is with our Lord and will be forever your guardian angel. Take care of yourselves.... Love, Annette

Dear Mrs. Thayer and Family, When Mom told me about the accident, I prayed every night before bed for Mr. Thayer's speedy recovery. When she gave me the news of his passing I was crushed. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you must be going through, and saying "I'm so sorry for your loss" just does not seem to cover what I feel in my heart. I did not have much of an opportunity to work with Mr. Thayer at Plum St. but he was always a ray of sunshine and was quick to give you a reason to smile and feel good about yourself. I remember him in retirement caring for the dogs, a huge smile on his face. I consider myself blessed to have been fortunate enough to have met him. At times like these I really feel the distance between Germany and home, and I am sorry that I cannot be there in person to show my love and support. I do hope that this little note somehow closes the gap. You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I want you to know that you have a far away friend who is sending you a big *HUG* as a thank you for being in my life. Be sure to take care of yourself in the coming days and do not hesitate to ask for help in any way. We are here for you. Love, Jen

I was a classmate of Tommy's' both at St. Paul's and Kenny. In the last mini class reunion we had at Cedar Key Florida in June of 08' Tommy and I shared a hotel room for the three days. We had such great laughs at the reunion, as well as when we were together by ourselves. Tommy was so easy to make laugh. He thought my humor was absolutely irreverent, but outright hilarious. I will miss Tommy so very much. He was one of those people that epitomized the expression...Why is that the good die young...!

I am very sorry for your loss. I was part of the Bishop Kenny 1964 graduating class. I didn't know Tommy well; but, from what I have read and heard from those who knew him, he was a special person. And, '64 was a "vintage year" for out class. I pray that God comforts you thru this time. Sincerely, Evelyn
