So sorry to read about the passing of Elmer this morning-I was shocked-I didn't know he was ill--besides being the best-man at my wedding he was one heckava nice guy. We will miss him at our baseball bankquet this year,. He never missed one--He was an inductee into our Greater Vineland Baseball League Hall of Fame. Again, my condolences to the entire family. He will be greatly missed.

I always called him Uncle Elmer. He taught me to play golf,I was a lefty but he told me very few lefties could play golf so he taught me to hit the ball righty. He took us to New York to his brothers' house on weekends, and along with my father taught me how to play baseball. He was the best , may he rest in peace.
