Obituary of Charles F. Platania

Charles F. Platania, 78, passed away Monday, November 26, 2007, at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland. Born and raised in Vineland, he was a life long resident. After graduating Vineland HIgh School, he served in the US Army during the Korean War. Charles owned and operated Platania's Used Cars by the old Vineland Circle for many years. He worked for Kimble Glass in the Tube Alley, retiring after 35 years. He was a member of the Civil Defense Patrol. In his earlier years enjoyed roller-skating and boating. He also enjoyed selling novelties at Cowtown in Woodstown, but he found the most pleasure being with his family and friends.
