Dear Barbara and family, My family was blessed to have Erna and Herman as neighbors for many years. After Herman's passing, Erna's kindness and caring spirit remained a welcome presence in our lives. In my mother's final years, when her mind was no longer sharp, Erna would arrive with a pot of soup, which not only helped my mother but served as solace to me. I will always remember Erna's giving spirit, and she remains a fond memory of my childhood. I know she is now with the Lord and her beloved husband. Fondly, Barbara
