Obituary of Jeannie LaCombe

Jennie Jeanne LaCombe Jennie LaCombe,78, of Vineland, died, November 22, at Old Orchard Health Facility in Easton, Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Vineland, Jeanne was the daughter of the late John B. and Lucy Guida. She was a seamstress at the Barse and Model Coat Clothing Companies, and the woman behind the pleasant voice as a switchboard operator at the then Newcomb Hospital in Vineland, from which she is retired. Jeanne enjoyed playing cards, raising her five children, cooking and baking, eating sweets, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her five children; Dominick LaCombe II and wife & Ruth Ann of Stuart, FL, Debra Walsh and husband Patrick Walsh of Stuart, FL, Dawn Kern and husband Robert Kern Jr. of Lincroft, NJ, Davon Williams and husband James P. Williams of Easton, PA, and Davis LaCombe, Jr.of Stuart, FL; her eight grandchildren: Deanna Maros and husband Matt, Dominick LaCombe Jr. and fiance Jennifer, Darra LaCombe and Danielle LaCombe and fiance Daniel, Jimmy and Christopher Williams, Davis LaCombe III, and Dayne LaCombe, and soon-to-be great grandson, Matthew. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Guidaof Vineland, NJ and her sister Rosalie Guida of Wildwood. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years In 2003, Davis LaCombe, Sr. Funeral Home Visitation will be held on Monday, December 10th from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, December 11th 10 to 11 am at Rone Funeral Service A Funeral Liturgy will be held Tuesday at 11:30 am from Sacred Heart Church, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland.
