My condolences to Dave’s family. I was a rookie police officer assigned to a squad with Dave who was a very accomplished officer. He taught me the secret to being a good officer and how to make the job easier. Try to see and respect the humanity of everyone you contact on duty. He was a great cop. We became good friends for years so I experienced his love of life. I am sure his large personality will be missed.
