Both my mother and my aunt were students of Miss Lascari during the 1950's in her evening adult sewing classes. She was so very kind to them. They kept repeating the classes over and over while she taught them more and more skills. Over the years both of these ladies made lined and pinch pleated drapes of which they were very proud. My mother made me clothes, lined suits and coats. My mother is long since passed but I she often talked about learning to sew. I was able to let my aunt, who is 97 years old, the sad news about Mis Lascari and she and I reminisced. May she rest in peace knowing she gave so much to so many.

To the family and friends of Nina, she was a very Kind woman and one of my Mom’s dearest friends throughout her life. Joining Nina and the other Ladies of the Birthday Lunch Group was one of their favorite joys to share together. God bless her and May they all share their love of God together in Heaven. Even though she lived fairly close to me, I only met Nina about 15 years ago. Since that time, I had the highest regard for her spirituality, virtue, and decency. She will be missed. My condolences to her famiy.

Ms. Lascari attended St. Mary's Church in East Vineland and was active in church committees. She was always smiling, kind and generous with her time and talents. I knew her through my mother's involvement in church activities. In later years, her youthful spirit and warm smile were always present.

My mother Marie Tedesco taught for years alongside Ms. Lascari. She always spoke so highly of her and said she made her job so pleasurable. Sending the family prayers of peace and comfort.

Dear Family, We are heartbroken to hear of Nina's passing. We have so many memories of wonderful times together. Now she is with her cousins, brother, mother and father and others that have gone before. May you know how much we loved her and loved our long chats as she settled into the last years of her life.
