These thoughts came to me today as I am preparing to see Nico leave this earth. Did you know that he came over on a boat? Could not speak English? Worked to own and operate several restaurants with Niko as the prime owner and operator? And after he retired he took a job driving back and forth to the shore as a security agent delivering classified materials?
What kind of man would do this? A good man who integrated to the United States to make it a better country. Niko was one of the immigrants who made our country great. You will never see his name mentioned but he was one who made America great! Thank you Niko for being who you were both for your family and the USA

Niko was a special person. He worked hard his whole life but his biggest achievement was with his wife Susan creating a special family for the world to experience.
Take care of him God, he was a good man

What a wonderful Husband, Father, Papou, Brother and Uncle to many.
My heart is sad he is gone because we will miss that smile, laugh and hugs.
Knowing he is with his Lord and savior and free from pain , makes it a lot easier.
May God Keep the family at this time of grief.
We wish we could be there but being able to FaceTime last week was a blessing to me soul.
We love you all!

I send heartfelt condolences to Susan and to each member of their loving family. This world needs more people like Niko in it! Whenever we met after several weeks or months, his first words (along with a big hug) were "Aunt Margie, you never change!" Well, that's a great way to be reunited in familial love! He made me feel like a million bucks! And now my wish and prayer for him is that he feels "like a million bucks" in the very presence of God. May Niko's soul rest in the peace and joy of the kingdom which will have no end.
