Obituary of Katherine L Lillia

Rone Funeral Service 856-691-4222 Katherine Lillia, 81, of Vineland, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 14, 2021 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, NJ. Katherine was born in Adonijah, West Virginia and came to Vineland seeking employment. While Kathy found a job she also found the love of her life Tony. From that day on Kathy spent the rest of her life making sure that Tony never doubted his place in her heart. Kathy had several jobs including working in the cafeteria for Vineland school district, but her love for her family was more fulfilling and Kathy opted to become a full time wife and mother to Tony and her children Anthony, Nicholas, Sheila and Chris. On many Thursday evenings Kathy could be found at the Elks in Millville surrounded by her Bingo boards. On any given day a pot of coffee would be brewing for the 10th time and Kathy could be found around her kitchen table surrounded with her gal pals chatting away. When Kathy became a MomMom the world changed for her, her grandchildren and eventually her great grandchildren were her life. Never would Kathy miss one of their events, birthdays or the chance to have them visit. Katherine loved her family and no one ever doubted that. Katherine is survived by her husband of 59 years Anthony "Tony"; sons Anthony(Diane), Nicholas, Christopher(Nina), daughter Sheila Harkness (Brian); her 13 grandchildren, Ciara, McKenzie, Breanne, Shavonne, Alyssa, Haylie, Jamie, Jenissa, Dustin, Joelle, Nicholas, Heather, and Andrew; her eight great-grandchildren, Riley, Reece, Emily, Aubree, Sophia, Sadie, Wayne & Weston; brother Larry Pritt; her sisters Janet White, Shelvia White and many nieces & nephews. Katherine was predeceased by her daughter Rose Marie Lillia; parents Lonnie & Odith Pritt; her sisters Phyllis & Geraldine, and brother Ed. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, August 20th from 11am to 1pm followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will be private for immediate family only. The funeral home requires everyone to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
