Obituary of Frank Guaracini

Frank Guaracini, Jr., 65, of Vineland, New Jersey passed away peacefully at his home on March 30, 2021. "Frank, Jr." was born in Vineland on April 5, 1955 to Frank, Sr., and Josephine (Tuso) Guaracini. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School and was a student at Glassboro State College. In 1977, Frank married Elizabeth Vastano who was his wife for almost 44 years. Frank was an entrepreneur and commercial real estate developer. He operated three Vineland supermarkets in Vineland, including two ShopRite supermarkets. He was also President of Frank's Realty Company and developed the Vineland Regional Transportation Center, which together lease spaces to 30 commercial tenants. Frank was devoted to the Roman Catholic faith. He was an ordained permanent deacon of the Diocese of Camden and most recently served at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish in Hammonton, where he was loved by many. Frank was a community leader and devoted countless hours to educational, spiritual, and charitable causes. He was a major benefactor to the Frank Guaracini, Jr., Fine and Performing Arts Center at Cumberland County College. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Gregor Mendel Award from St. Augustine Preparatory School. Frank had a passion for the arts, loved watching movies, and enjoyed country music. He also loved the beach and Ocean City in the summers. Frank loved his family more than anything in the world. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Vastano); three children, Frank Guaracini, III (and wife Amanda), Constance Elizabeth, and Victoria Allison; sister Joan Marandino (and husband Joseph) and brother Joseph "Butchie" Guaracini; grandchild Charlotte Guaracini; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was expecting the arrival of a grandson in April. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank, Sr., and Josephine (Tuso) Guaracini, and sister Maryann. Frank will be remembered most for his generosity, kindness, and optimism. He touched countless lives. His true impact on the community is immeasurable. He will remain in our hearts forever.
