Deacon Frank, you are at rest now and that is what transpires when someone passes.
It is who gets left behind that is devastating. You were a dear friend who got very
sick, and you knew it. One of our phone conversations while you were hospitalized
you spoke of your ordeal. You told me, "God has a plan and I don't want to interfere."
You were a giving man with much depth and compassion. I shall never forget your visits
to me while I was in rehab recooperating from a horrific fall injury. Since all patients
were in "lock-down" due to Covid, you still found a way to visit me by appearing at
my window. You would call me on the phone and we would talk and talk, which we both
liked to do. You knew how important it was to boast my morale, especially the day that
it rained. You stood there as though the sun was shining, encouraging me to continue
to work hard so I could walk again. Who ever thought you would leave before me?
Your Spirit will always be in our churches, St. Joseph & St. Anthony, and for that we
are blessed. Until we meet again, your friend and favorite Lector, Joanna Conn.

5 days later and I still have no words. Liz, Frank III, Connie, Vicky and Ann, you have been in my thoughts and prayers every minute of every day. Frankie, I am so blessed that God chose you to be my cousin. You took a piece of my heart with you. The rest of my heart will always love you forever. I will wait for the day that you "open up that 9th Street Bridge" to greet me with open arms. I love you.

As sad as the loss of a loved one can be, we are lifted up in the joy of knowing that Frank, too, shall share in our Lord’s Resurrection! As we grieve his passing and reminisce on wonderful memories that we hold in our hearts, may we prayerfully find joy in Frank’s new life in our Lord, Jesus Christ – for death is only the beginning, and our separation is only temporary.
May the Divine Assistance remain always with us, and may Frank and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the Divine Mercy of Almighty God, rest in eternal peace. Amen. †

I feel blessed to have been able to count Frank as a friend. He truly practiced his faith. His was well-known for his generosity, but it is the many private acts of kindness that truly defined him. Sending prayers of peace and comfort to Liz and the entire family.
