Mr. Manno was my 7th grade wood shop teacher at BMS in 1999. I can only think about the patience he must have had to teach woodshop to us knucklehead 7th grade boys. He did a wonderful job and I can still recall the pride I had when seeing my 1st woodworking project, the birdhouse. I never new until reading this that Mr. Manno was such an athlete, and even a better citizen to his community. We need more Mr. Manno’s in the world. My best to the family.

the mannos was a large part of college years. and mr manno was huge part. he was a ray of sunshine and biggest supporter on the sideline and joined in the party at our karaoke nights. he welcomed me into their house on summer trips to jerseyand would love our breakfast trips down at the inn. mr and mrs manno were relationship goals of a husband who not only loved his wife but they were best friends. i remember how he would spoil boots and bailey and love taking them out down to the lake or whereever he was going. his presence, hugs and smile will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting. prayers to the manno family as they grieve and may the many memories give you comfort during these difficult times.

Dear Manno Family,
I was sad to hear of Ron's passing. I was his classmate at Bridgeton High and graduated with him. I can recall the excitement of the football games and cheering loudly.
Ron always had a smile. I have many fond memories of him.
Reading his obituary showed that he flourished in life and was
always giving back to an amazing number of friends and mentees.
Our world certainly needs more Rons.
Warm regards to the family and friends,
Maxine Lubow in Los Angeles (since 1972)

I'll always remember coming to the homestead almost every Sunday. Picking pepper, tomatoes, strawberries as a child. And those Sunday dinners with all the family around. I have so many great memories. Love Vicki Forte

Mr. Manno was my first male teacher at Deerfield Twp.School. He was so much fun! He loved playing games, dancing and connecting with people. We were outside every day it was possible and learning folk dances in the classroom when it rained. I remember we had to made a notebook about different countries with pictures or drawings of maps, natural resources, products, etc. Great teaching tool since I still remember doing it. I babysat for Joey and Johnny and Ron became life long friends with my parents Elis and Henny Widjeskog. They would go to dances together and enjoy Friday night at my parent’s playing cards and taking sauna. Every once in awhile you meet someone who outshines all in the room. That was Ronnie Manno. Definitely made an impression on me. Happy trails my friend. You will be missed.
