On behalf of my brothers and sisters, we wish you peace at this difficult time. "Aunt Doris" will always hold a special place in our famiy. She was my mother's best friend. My favorite story was when they went to modeling or finishing school. My mom had to lose weight and she said skinny Aunt Doris would drink milk shakes to her water. Let's hope they can both share chocolate shakes in heaven as they catch up and prepare for what is ahead.

I came to know your mom quite well over the past few years - she kept me going when I lost my mom and always had time to listen and words of wisdom to keep me from losing my cool - She was a wonderful person - down to earth and accepting - and I know there's a special place in heaven just for her.

All my memories of summer at the shore include Doris, whether it was enjoying an afternoon snack at her house, or laying in the sun on the beach. I will always remember the spunk and zest for life that seemed to follow her wherever she went. She was a wonderful person, and a dear friend to my grandmother. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

You will be deeply missed that loved you, and your smile will be remembered forever. When support was needed by anyone you were there. When a laugh was needed you were there. When your family & friends were around you were at your happiest. The strength, courage & love you had for life are an inspiration to all. With fondest of memories & a smile I will remember you. Be at peace & enjoy the reunion with your loved ones.
