Just wanted to extend our deepest sympathies to you, Paula, and all your family in the death of your beloved Paul. Have wondered what happened as we hadn't seen him at the YMCA. May the Lord comfort and keep you and help you in the time ahead as only He can.
Love & Prayers,
Joshua & Calista Ruga and Family

My dear Paul I have just learned of your passing today 2/22/16 and I am deeply saddened. This world has lost a great man! I had the pleasure of working with you at The Grapevine and so enjoyed your quick wit and dry humor. You were an outstanding writer and a fantastic grandfather! Paula I am so very sorry for your loss. They just don't make them like him anymore! God bless all of you!

Please accept my sympathy. I went to high school in Detroit with Paul and saw him a few times when he returned from the Navy. Nobody liked a good time better than Paul and he was a real cutup in school. He was always trying to make sulfur in the chem lab so they would clear out the building and we could all go home. He may not have been the nuns favorites but he was one of ours. It sounds like he lead a good life and I am so glad for him. I know God was glad to get this little piece of Himself back.

Dear Paula and family,
I am very sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I was a member of the Cumberland news running group and I am thankful for the friend's and memories that this group created. I ran into Paul around Easter time last year and we talked of having a reunion of the old running group. Paul graciously offered to host the event. He was always the gracious host. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To The Family of Paul,
Unfortunately I did not know Paul well, even though we are first cousins. I was shocked when I heard of his passing! Remembering the good times can help comfort you and take some of the sting out of your loss.
My heart, thoughts, hugs and prayers go out to all of you!!
Love, Joannie Doe

I was making a special effort to contact the family of Paul to send my condolences, and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...." Also, Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from the eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Again, my condolences for your loss. Please visit the jw.org website for answers to many Bible questions.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. It was a pleasure to work for Paul at the Cumbetland News! Even though we always went in with a job to do, Paul although serious at times joked around and made it a great working environment . Although I lost contact with Paul over the years, I always would think about him. So sorry to gear about his passing ! RIP
