My condolences to the Corbo family. Dr. Corbo was a part of my life throughout my years growing up in Millville and Ocean City. Our families were very close, quite often sharing holidays and gatherings. He was a very good man and I'll always remember him with warmth. He never allowed his honesty and integrity to be compromised. Again, my thoughts to all of his children and family.

Corbo Family:
My Condolences. I am very sorry for your loss and am sorry that I wasn't there for his funeral.
Dr. Corbo was an excellent friend to my father and to our family.
When I was small and had finished my dental appointment - no matter how many patients he had in his waiting room, Dr. Corbo would walk me out to second street and hold my hand and safely cross with me to the other side of that busy commercial street.
I enjoyed taking him sailing several times on the Hobie Cat and riding within him once or twice in his motorboat - he was captain courageous! He enjoyed the beach as much everyone. I remember some rowdy boys were throwing sand at a girl and Dr. Corbo interceded and set the boys straight on their behavior.
And the football games and meals at Dante's afterward were memorable. His kindness and friendship to my family will not be forgotten. Cherish the memories!

Dear Mike and family,
My deepest sympathy to you all. Having lost my Mother this past August, I know how difficult it is to lose a parent.
The pain eventually subsides ,but the memories always remain.
I leave you with a poem that really resonated with me.
Do Not Stand At My Grave and Weep
(By Mary Elizabeth Frye)
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Mrs.Corbo:
Dr.Corbo was one of my favorite people. He was there my whole life, I will miss him. When I was young, and went to him as a dentist, he scared me to death. He would always yell "keep your tongue still", and the more he said it, the more I couldn't do it.
In Ocean City, I remember good times--seeing him on the beach, riding in his boat, him coming over to visit my parents. But the most memorable times were Eagles games. He bought 2 tickets when my father went to Florida, and I always drove. He always made sandwiches,"real provolone" with "the best rolls" from Benny's. He always said "Beautiful", told me "Life is a compromise", preferred Ralph's on 9th St when I always wanted to go to Dante and Luigis. I last saw him about 4 years ago, I was filling in at Shoprite Pharmacy in Absecon when he came in. We talked for a while, he invited Suanne and I to lunch at your new house in Galloway--"June will make a great lunch". I never got around to it,I wish I had. He was a real character, I'll miss him. To Joey,Terry,Michael, and Chris: he was a great man, and I really do know what you're going through.
Sincerely, Damion
