Obituary of John F Trasferini

John F. Trasferini, 81 of Franklin Township passed away Sunday November 1, 2009 in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center Vineland after a lengthly illness. Born in Buena to the late Peter A. and Carmella (Sabella) where he ramained a life long area resident. After graduating Clayton High School, John worked along side of his brother on the family farm for many years before opening Garden State Cleaning Company along with his brother Albert in 1969 until his retirement in 2003. A member of the Atlantic County Market Growers Association He was also a part of the Inovative and Progressive farming program associated with the Rutgers University Agriguculture division. An avid hunter and Fisherman he was a former president of the Landisville Gunning Club. John enjoyed Horse Racing and owned several throubread horses. His passion for music, he was an accomplished musician where he played and taught the accordian. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, never missing the acitvities and sports events of his grandchildren. His many past times were vegtable gardening, vacationing, traveling but most of all spending time with his family.
