My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. John was a real joy to know back in our Garden State Cleaner days. He had a quick wit and a great sense of humor that made me laugh all the time. I am very sorry for your loss.

When I met Carmi back in high school, I had no idea that being her friend also included the friendship, acceptance, humor, and love of the entire Trasferini Clan: Momma T , Papa T, Janet, John, Mary, the Uncles, the Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and a set of Grandparents too. Remembering the four years I practically lived at the Trasferini compound always makes me smile. My fondest memories of Papa Trasferini include the twinkle in his eyes when he smiled and how a hammer and rubber tire conspired to knock him out. Much love to all of you. Debbie Makos-Trionfo

We were lucky to have lived next door to John for the past 5 years. He joked that his land had once grown sweet potatoes and was now growing families. Our daughter Logan was always on the look-out for "Uncle John," so she could run over and give him a hug. He will be sorely missed and his memory cherished.
