Obituary of Angelina Testa

Angelina (Mongelluzzo) Testa, 96 of Vineland was granted her angel wings on July 2, 2010. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and caregivers at Bishop McCarthy Residence where she touched the livesof everyone who knew her. She was born on November 1, 1913, in Malaga, New Jersey, where she attended school. She married Manuel Testa in 1940, and enjoyed 47 years of marriage with him until his death in 1987. Angie was a long-time employee of DeRossi and Son Clothing Company where she worked until her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Vineland where she was a Past-President of the Ladies of St. Francis, organized casino bus trips for the church and was an active member and officer of the Vineland Senior Center Leisure Hour Group. She also spent time visiting area nursing homes with her dance troupe called The Golden Girls. Angie enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, spending time with her family and friends and trips to the Atlantic City casinos. Mrs. Testa is survived by her sisters Antoinette Race, of Vineland and Viola "Dolly" Alexander, of Franklinville; sister-in-laws Anna Mongelluzzo, of Landisville, Beatrice Mongelluzzo, of Buena, and Teresa Testa of North Dakota; 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchldren, cousins nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband Manny, Angie was predeceased by her father Antonio Mongelluzzo her mother Philomena (Lancello) Mongelluzzo, her brothers Anthony, Frederick, and Pasquale Mongelluzzo; her sisters Theresa Beckham and Mildred Paul; brother-in-law Alfred Testa and sister-in-law Olga Testa; her son Mickey and daughter-in-law Jackie (Maines) Tirelli. A funeral home visitation will be Wednesday July 7, 2010 from 1 to 2 pm in the Rone Funeral Service. A funeral mass will be offerd Wednesday July 7, 2010 at 2:30 pm from the Devine Mercy Parish the church of St. Francis 23 W.
