Obituary of Lena V. Tammaro

Lena V. Tammaro, 95, of Vineland passed away Saturday evening in the Bishop McCarthy residence in Vineland. Lena was born in Newark to the late John and Frances (Fruccia) Pepitone before moving to Vineland where she remained a life long resident. Before her retirement she was employed for DiPaola Clothing and DiRossi Clothing and a member of its Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. Lena enjoyed playing pinochle and Bingo, but her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by daughter and husband, Arlene & Kenneth Estes, Pittsgrove, son and wife, Anthony & Gail Tammaro, Vineland, granddaughters and their husbands, Kelly & Matthew Innocenzi and Kari & Wade Wyatt, granddaughter and companion, Kristy Estes & Jason Ankeny, grandsons, Thomas & Christopher Tammaro, granddaughter, Traci Tammaro, great-grandsons Tate Wyatt & Hunter Ankeny, and several nieces and nephews. Lena was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Thomas C. Tammaro in 1989, sisters, Frances Angelero, Josephine Imburgia, and Anita Fisher, and brothers, Mario Pepitone, John Pepitone, Frank Pepitone and Mario Errera.
