Obituary of Madeline Tamagni

Madeline "Lena" Tamagni, 88, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008, at Ridgewood Gardens, Salem, Virginia. Born in Brookville, PA to the late John and Mary (Covolo) Melie, she moved from Illinois to the Vineland area in 1930. Several years ago she moved to Virginia to be near her sons. Lena was a seamstress for DeSantis Clothing Company in Vineland for over nineteen years before retiring in 1982.She formerly was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Church and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a former volunteer for A.R.C. in Millville. Lena was an avid bowler and belonged to area bowling leagues. She enjoyed sewing and baking and was a great lover of animals.
