Obituary of Gloria B. Stewart

Gloria (Bononcini) Stewart 81, passed away on May 1, 2009 at Monmouth Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Philadelphia to Albert and Katherine (Dooley) Bononcini, she was raised in Landisville, NJ by her aunt and uncle Salvy and Mary Bononcini, after her mothers death when she was two years old. Gloria was a popular and beautful girl who loved her life on the family farm. She enjoyed dancing immensely and met her husband of 56 years at a dance. She married John H. Stewart and moved to Winslow New Jersey where she raised her three children and worked at the Ideal Manufacturing Company and later at Kessler's in Hammonton NJ. Gloria loved fashion, gardening and her home. In 1970 she and the family moved to Covin California where she worked for many years as a fashion consultant at Dobrin's in Covin California. After retirement she and her family moved back to New Jersey where they settled in Egg Harbor Township for the last 14 years. She is survived by her husband John H. Stewart, Three children, daughter Kathleen Perone and her husband Samuel, daughter Denise Stewart, and son John R. Stewart all of Monmouth Beach NJ. grandson William Candelaria, and grandaughter Elizabeth Stewart. Also surviving Gloria is her sister Eloise Wolkowicz of Turnersville, Ten nieces and nephews fifteen great nieces and nephews and seven great-great nieces and nephews. She had many loving cousins and dear friends. Gloria was predeceased by her brother Robert J. Bononcini and sisters Patricia Musto and Barbara Mucciarelli.
