Obituary of Alfred Stern

Alfred G. Stern, 96, passed away on June 23, 2011 at his home in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. He was born in Kerhonkson, NY, the youngest of 12 children of Samuel and Ester Stern. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1933 and attended the College of New Jersey. Alfred with his twin brother Albert began his farming career in 1927 when the family moved to Vineland from New Brunswick, Canada. They ran their farm until retirement in 1980. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time visiting Atlantic City and especially enjoyed times with family and friends. Alfred is predeceased by Ruth K. Stern, his loving wife of 71 years. Alfred was both a beloved and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
