Obituary of Joseph Stefano

Joseph Stefano "Jackson" 96 of Millville, formerly of Vineland, died Monday October 15, 2007, in Genesis Healthcare Millville. Born in Blocton Alabama to the late Stefano and Lucia (Arienti) Degliesposti before moving to Vineland where he was a life-long resident. Jackson was employed in the military clothing industry for Penbrook Inc. as a Foreman for many years before his retirement. He was a long time member of the Recreation Club and the North Itlay Club, where he was known for his bocce skills; and a past member of the 5th Ward Athletic Association of Bridgeton. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was famous for growing the best and most tastytomatoes. An avid baseball fan, Jackson was known as a gracious person who always put others first.
