Obituary of Robert Aubyn

Devoted Father and Grandfather Robert (Bob) St.Aubyn, 75, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009, at South Jersey Regional Medical Center surrounded by family. Born in 1934 in Millville, he later became a resident of Vineland for over 60 years. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1953. He is best known for his football career and his love of the game. He was recognized as an outstanding player in the position of tackle. He retired from Progresso Foods in 2007. Prior to that, he was employed for Crown Cork and Seal and Continental Can Company. Bob spent most of his time working hard to provide and care for his family. Family was most important to him. Some of his favorite past times were crabbing, clamming, fishing, watching college football games, attending Vineland High School Athletic events, and family gatherings. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, grandchildren and all who knew him. He is survived by daughter and her husband, Donna and Steven D'Amato, Germantown, MD; daughter and her husband, Kimberly and Michael Costantino, Pittsgrove, NJ; brother and his wife, Richard and Rita St.Aubyn, Heislerville, NJ; sister and her husband, Dolores and Nicholas La Farina, Rio Grande, NJ; Grandchildren Kayla, Steven and Bobby D'Amato and Oliva, Michaela and Luke Costantino and many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents, William and Josephine St. Aubyn; his wife Eunice (Giuliani) St. Aubyn in 2007, his daughter Karen St. Aubyn in 1995.and his sister June Curcio. A funeral home visitation will be held on Sunday from 6:30pm to 7:30 pm and Monday 9 am to 10:00 am at Rone Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 am from Rone Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
