Obituary of Robert W. Brown

Robert W. "Bob" Brown, 68 of Vineland passed away Thursday August 12, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Baker) Brown. Bob was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from West Catholic High School. He was a resident of Vineland since 1970. Bob worked as a mechanic since the age of 18. He was employed as a diesel mechanic for 32 years with Gallo GMC in Vineland. Bob was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He enjoyed reading, sports, and playing with his grandchildren. Bob was a true friend and family man always putting others before himself. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Louise (Biscoglio) Brown, daughter Stephanie Brown and fiancée Fred Burns of Philadelphia, PA, son Steven Brown and wife Paula Brown of Vineland, grandchildren Kylie and Brayden Brown, and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. He was predeceased by his brother Paul "Buddy" Brown. A funeral home visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Rone Funeral Home 1110 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland, NJ; followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 am at St. Padre Pio Parish, Our Lady of Pompeii Church 4680 Dante Ave., Vineland, NJ and burial will follow at Our Lady Arrangements are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E.
