Obituary of Barbara Louise Smith

Barbara Louise Smith, 70, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. Born in Wilmington, Delaware to the late James Howard and Patricia L. (Murphy) Smith she was a long time area resident since 1964. Barbara was a graduate of S. Charleston HIgh School in West Virginia, a graduate of St. Mary's Nursiong School in Huntington, West Virginia and also attended Glassboro State College working towards he Master's Degree in Clinical Psycology. She was employed at Guthrie Hospice in Huntington, West Virginia. When Barbara moved to Vineland she worked for Newcomb Medical Center, then the Seabrook House before employment with the State of New Jersey where she was Regional Director for Health & Human Services before retiring in 2002. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
