Obituary of Sylvan Silverstein

Sylvan Silverstein, 88, of Vineland passed away Saturday July 11 2009 after a brief illness. Born in Poland to the late Leon and Rivka (Jaskol) Silverstein before moving to America with his late wife June (Braun) Silverstein. He was a Holocaust survivor. He was employed for El Paul Homes as a carpenter, and also worked as an independent home builder. Sylvan enjoyed trips to the Atlantic City casinos, and following the stock market. A devoted husband, father and grandfather he loved spending time with his family.
