Obituary of Ruth Siedlecki

Ruth (Powanzek) Siedlecki, age 83, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012. Born in Lapianca, Poland. She emigrated to the U.S. in 1951 with her husband and infant son surviving the Holocaust. They moved to Vineland where they started their new life in America. They had a chicken farm in Vineland, then a luncheonette in Pennsauken Mart and then they opened a men's store in New Castle Delaware. After retirement she enjoyed time with family and dear friends. Ruth is survived by her husband Joseph, her daughter, Suzie (Siedlecki) Levkowitz, her grandson, Roey Levkowitz and granddaughter, Lee Levkowitz. She was predeceased by her son Sam in July 2001. Visitation will be held on Monday April 23, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 12:00PM at the Rone Funeral Service 1110 E. Chestnut Ave. Vineland, NJ 08360. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon with Rabbi Yisroel Rapoport officiating. Interment will take place in Alliance Cemetery, Norma, NJ. Shiva will be at the home of Joseph Siedlecki at 7:15PM Monday to Thursday evening. Donations in Ruth's may be made to: Bat Ami Chapter or Hadassah 1370 S. Main Road.
