Obituary of Albert J. Siciliano

Albert "Slick" Siciliano, 77, of Landisville, passed away suddenly on Thursday March 24, at the South Jersey Regional Medical Center. Born in Landisville, he was a life-long resident. Albert attended the Buena grade schools, graduated Vineland High School in 1952, served in the US Army in the Korean Conflict, was the Chief of Police in Buena Boro from 1965 to 1968, was a retired road department superintendant from 1970 to 1995, was a chairman for 2 years, for the Board of Education of Our Lady of Victories, was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church, was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus - Bishop John Carroll # 654, was the Vice Commander for the VFW Post 158, was a member of the Buena Nature Club in 1991, and was on the Atlantic County Juvenile Conference Committee from 1977 to 1982. Albert was passionate about his cooking and baking skills. He also looked forward to spring to start his garden and tend to his fig trees. He also loved horses and raised several of them on his farm with his brother Gus. Presently, there is a Pasofino horse in his stable affectionately known as 'Slick'.
