Obituary of Rita Mary Shaw

Rita M. Shaw, 91 of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on October 22, 2009 at the home of her daughter, Barbara Hirsch, in Rockville, Maryland. Rita lived with her daughter, Mary Shaw for the past 22 years, most recently in Williamstown, NJ. She was born to the late Mary (Markiewicz) and Joseph Brazdon, her Lithuanian parents in Philadelphia, PA. Her entire life, Rita enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading. She partiularly enjoyed traveling bothdomestically and internationally, wherever her children and their families were planning to visit. In 1991 she visited Valkininkai, Lithuania and met her mother's family for the first time. Rita is survived by her three daughters, Mary Shaw, Barbara Hirsch, Patricia Wojciechowski and five grandchildren, Daniel and Sarah Hirsch (twins) and Katharine, Christina and Elizabeth Wojciechowski. She was predeceased by her husband Henry, her sister, Dorothy Cochran and three brothers, Joseph, Leonard and Francis.
