Betty Brignoli 75, affectionatly known as "Aunt Bette", died Tuesday Febuary 27, 2007 in the Penn. Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. Born in Millville to the late Fred and Josephine Dowling. A graduate of Millville High School, Betty was a resident of here before moving to South Vineland after her marrage to her late husband. Betty worked on the Birgnoli family farm for many years before her employment as a secretary for Torchio Brothers General Construction in Vineland before her retirement.

Betty loved cooking Sunday dinners for her friends, listening to country music and watching Nascar. A huge fan of Nascar driver Bill Elliot, She also enjoyed attending the races at the Vineland Speedway in earlier days. One of her joys in life was caring for dog Travis.
