Obituary of Anthony R. Scarpa

Anthony "Shoes" Scarpa Anthony Scarpa, 75 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning surrounded by his loving family after a short illness. Tony was a lifelong Vineland resident and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. After marrying the love of his life, Marie Rosati, he began a career in the fire service working for the Vineland Fire Department. Tony also became a union electrician with the IBEW #592. He served as a member of the IBEW Executive Board and Steward on major construction projects including years at the Hope Creek & Salem Nuclear plants. Tony also served as a Guardsman with the NJ National Guard. Tony was an avid fisherman who enjoyed many fishing trips in the Delaware Bay with his friends and family. He was predeceased by his Wife Marie (Rosati) Scarpa, Parents Charles & Caroline (Capano) Scarpa, Sister and brother-in-law Sara (Scarpa) and C. Victor Rone. He is survived by children, Diana Scarpa, Donna (Scarpa) & Bob Blough, Robert Scarpa and Adrianna Casalinuovo, Rich and Kimberly Scarpa; his brother Charles Scarpa. Grandchildren, Danielle (Nelson) and Rich Davidson, Tonimarie (Blough) and Brendan Gheen, Mikilyn (Blough) and Mathew Hiles, Robert and Christina Makosky, Suzi Blough, Vincent Scarpa, Jay Jacobson, Jesse Jacobson, Allie Scarpa, Giancarlo Scarpa and Brett Boesenhofer. Great Grandchildren; Lana, Aubrey and Taylor Davidson, Mattie & Kimi Hiles, Bobby Blough, Dakota, Cheyenne & Megan Makosky. Brother-in-law and wife Vincent and Dolores Rosati, Sister-in-law Giovanna Wagner, Caregiver Mimi Bakradze, aunts, many nieces, nephews, cousins and of course his canine companion "Buddy".
