Obituary of Mary C. Rossi

Mary Rossi passed away peacefully on December 28, 2010 following a brief illness at the age of 89. She was born on November 3, 1921 in Zeeland, MI. Active in many charities, Mary was a beautiful person who loved life and her family above all else. Atlantic City casinos were one of her favorite places to visit. Playing the lottery was one of her passions She will be sadly missed by everyone who had an opportunity to know her. A homemaker, Mary devoted herself to raising her three sons, Domenic Ciancarelli (Deborah) of Millville, NJ., Francis Ciancarelli (Nina) of Mission, TX, and Philip Rossi (companion Laura Wycoff) of Egg Harbor City, NJ. She is also survived by grandchildren Lisa and Marc Ciancarelli, Michael and Angela Ciancarelli, Christina and Amanda Rossi. Step-grandchildren are Daniel, Robert, Joshua and LeRoy W. Hider III, Alyssa and Emily Tischler. Great grandchildren include AJ and Sabrina Knapp, Maddison Ciancarelli, Colin and Matthew Ciancarelli, Madison Hider and Emily Hider. Mary had many nieces and nephews as well. Her husband John A. Rossi founder of Precision Electronic Glass predeceased her in 2009. John and Mary were married 55 years. They both resided at The Baker House in Vineland, NJ. prior to their deaths. Her first husband Domenic A. Ciancarelli predeceased her in 1953. At Mary's request, private services were held under the direction of Rone Funeral Service. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to a charity of their choosing.
