Obituary of Gloria Rita Romano

Gloria Rita Romano, (nee Corsiglia) 85 of Lido Beach Florida, passed away poeacefully at her Townsend Inlet home on January, 2nd 2008. Born in Vineland on December, 2nd 1922 Gloria was the daughter of the late Cristina (Rerrari) and paul Corsiglia. Gloria was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Salvatore romano in 1999, sister Mae Ackly and brothers Paul Jr. and Andrew Corsiglia. In her earlier years Gloria worked for the United States Postal Service in Minotola and achieved athe Post Master's position before her retirement. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, taking trips to the casinos and preparing delicious home made meals. An avid sea shell collector, Gloria especially enjoyed combing the beaches of Florida and New Jersey. gloria was a devoted wife and care giver to her husband Salvatore. May they spend eternity together in Heaven. She is survived by her daughter, Bonita (Bonnie) and husband Anthony Brunozzi. Son Lorenzo (Rene) and wife Julyunn Romano. Five grandchildren, Geoffrey Warren and his wife Donna, Christian Warren and his wife Michele, Gabriel, Lauren Romano, and David Eisen, and four great grandchildren. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Monday January 7, 2008 at the Queen of Angels Parish, The Church of St. Michael, 504 West Ave. Minotola. A Church Visitation will be held from 9:15 to 11:15 am in St. Michaels Church. Entombment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Garden Mausoleum.
