Obituary of Manuel Roldan

Manuel Roldan born on March 11, 1931 in Vieques, Puerto Rico, passed away October 7, 2009. As a young man he grew up in Puerto Rico, then moved to New York City where he married Maria Martinez, on December 12, 1959. He served in the U.S. Army, followed by 12 years in the Army National Guard. Manuel lived in New York City before making Vineland, NJ his home for the last thirty-nine years, where he raised five children Steve Roldan, Matthew Roldan, JoJo Santiago, Mark Roldan, and Nina Roldan-Bennett. Manual retired from New York Transit Authority as a Train Conductor, after 20 years of service (lets go Yankees this train keeps rolling). After, he was employed by the Vineland Board of Education for 12 years. Manuel loved going to church. He was a graduate of Bible….Instiutuen He loved spending time with his family, especially sitting on the porch watching his grandchildren play. He was a devoted husband and father and will be missed tremendously.
