Obituary of Sabella C. Bova

Sabella "Elizabeth" (Lombardo) Bova, 100, of Vineland passed away, Monday, August 16, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Rose (Francesca) and Frank Lombardo. She was born in Vineland and lived there all her life. She grew up on the family farm with nine brothers and sisters. This is where she learned to be a hard worker, which remained with her all of her life. Sabella was employed with the DiPaolo Clothing factory as a buttonhole maker and later worked at home as an expert seamstress who could make anything and loved doing so. She also loved to cook and bake; her wonderful recipes were enjoyed by many friends and family. Sabella was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She is survived by her son Thomas and daughter-in-law Marilyn; her granddaughters Holly Bova Spiotta and Kimberly Sedeyn and six great- grand children; one great- great grandchild; her very close and caring friends Mark and Mac Sockwell. A church visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
