Obituary
Obituary of Alberto Rizzo
Alberto Rizzo Sr., of Pittsgrove, passed away February 8, 2007, at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He went home to be with Jesus, listening to his family's prayers, the reading of Psalm 27, and singing of Amazing Grace.
Albert was born in Sicily, Italy on December 14, 1942 to Vito and Guiseppa Rizzo. He came to the United States with his family in 1956 and settled in Vineland. Alberto was a self-employed painting contractor. He also worked at the Salem Nuclear Plant, as a painter.
Alberto was so very loved by all his family. He was a loving husband, brother, son, and father. He was always straightforward in his opinions, especially with his children, but it was never done without a loving heart. His favorite time was at Christmas, when the whole family would get together and celebrate.
