Obituary of Edward Riordan

Edward Michael Riordan, Sr., 60, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Catherine Theresa (Malseed) and John Francis Riordan. He moved to Buena Vista Township in 1974 where he resided until his death. He was a 1967 graduate from Bishop Neumann High School. He married his soul mate Judy (O'Neill) Riordan in March 1971. Edward was a practical joker, with a great sense of humor. He loved to take pictures, loved his cats and enjoyed listening to DJ Howard Stern. He was an avid music fan and had an appreciation of muscle cars and drag racing. Edward was a member of Teamster Local 107 as a driver for Airborne Express for 22 years until he retired in 2000. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law John and Kimberly Murray of Franklinville; son, Edward Michael Riordan, Jr., of Buena Vista Twp.; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Mickey Riordan, of Vineland; brother and his wife John and Anna Riordan Jr., of Prospect Park, PA, Brother and his wife James and Louise Riordan of Prospect Park, Pa; Grandchildren John Bergen III, John, Jr., Andrew, and Morgan Murray; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Edward was predeceased by his wife Judy (O'Neill) Riordan; stepfather Chris Solley and father-in-law and mother-in-law Rocco and Edna B. Seban. A funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 PM and Friday 8:45 am to 9:45 am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Victories Church, 202 Northwest Blvd., Landisville. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Victories Cemetery, Landisville.
