Obituary of Rea Richter

Rea Richter, 82 of Vineland passed away Tuesday September 1, 2009 in the Sunrise assisted living center in Galloway surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Fannie Berman before moving to Vineland where she remained a life-long resident. Rea worked along side her late husband Jack Richter in the Vineland Surgical Company for many years. She was a member of the Sons of Jacob Congregation and a past member of the Vineland Bridge Club. Rea enjoyed playing Mah-Johgg and was an avid reader. Rea was and accomplished artist, painting sorts of landscapes and portraits. Rea was a wonderful and loving Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her son and his wife Frank and Deborah Richter of Seven Devils NC, daughter Ina Richter of Galloway, Grandson and his wife Joshua and his wife Lena, Grandaughter, Teal Cohen, and grandson Evan Cohen, former son-in-law Jeff Cohen, brother and his wife Harry and Fran Berman sister and her husband Claire and Al Apparis all of California also many nieces and nephews. Rea was predeceased by her husband of 65 years who passed away April 1, 2008, and sister Anne Robbins.
