Jack Richter Obituary

Jack Richter 88 of Vineland died Tuesday April 1, 2008 at his residence. Born in Philadelphia to the late Morris and Jennie (Lindenwald) Richter and was a long time resident of Vineland. Jack owned and operated Vineland Surgical Company for over 30 years. Jack was an active member of the Sons of Jacob Synagogue in Vineland for over half a century, and a member of the B'nai Brith. He was the last surviving member of the "Winton Street Tigers" of South Philadelphia, a childhood club where members stayed close friends througout their lives. He enjoyed cooking and playing bridge. Jack was a lovable character and was known as the unoffical Mayor of Landis Avenue.
