Ethan: I worked in the York PA office of Legg Mason and worked with Shirley's clients for 17 years. She was also very appreciative in sending me gifts to thank me for helping her clients since I knew most of them from Hanover. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Shirly was always a pleasure to talk to on the phone. SHe could always make us laugh. Though we only had the pleasure of meeting her once, it will be a time we will never forget. She had the knowledge to help everyone she met, and she greatly touched our lives. Ethan you can be very proud of your mother, always cherish the memories as I know we will.

Sincere sympathy - remembering the happy hours we spent at Molly Michael's pool back in the late 50s.

I met Shirley in 1971. She was our stockbroker and we were young and newly married. She greeted us in a pair of shorts and top working from a small room at her home in Hanover. I was instantly impressed, she was so knowledgeable and congenial. We spoke many times over the years and I only saw her 2 times after that but I felt like I knew her well. She had that unique ability to create a bond of familiarity and trust. She loved her work, it was a pleasure to have known her. She will be remembered!

I worked with Shirley for many years at Legg Mason. She always made me laugh! She was always hiding in the ladies room during the fire drills and I had to go get her out everytime! She cared deeply about her family and her clients. She was a treasure and will be missed.
