Obituary of Marian Ricci

Marian A. Ricci 72, of Vineland died Saturday December 1, 2007 in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Vineland to the late Alexander and Mabel (Plummer) Caterina and remained a life long resident. A graduate of Sacred Heart High School and later attended the Franklin Institute of Technology where she studied Labratory Technology. Marian was employed as head of the Hemotolgy department of the Newcomb Hospital for many years. She was later employed as a Vetranary assistant for the Blue Cross Animal Hospital in Vineland. Along with her late husband she co-owned and operated Decor Ceramics here in Vineland. Marian later became Executive Director of the American Red Cross, Cumberland County Chapter at its headquaters in Vineland for several years. Among her hobbies she enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing Mah Jong, cooking, and entertaining. Her special joy in life and the apple of her eye was spending time with her grandson Jared.
