Obituary of Della R. Ricci

Della (Zucca) Ricci,90, died peacefully June 14, 2011 at South Jersey Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Ernest & Louise (Vastano) Zucca and the wife of Archie Ricci for 69 years. Born and raised in Vineland she and her husband co-founded Ricci's Cards & Gifts in 1955. Della was active in the business with her husband until 2004 when the business was sold. Della was a past member of The Womans Club of Vineland and Bishop McCarthy Auxiliary. She served for more than 30 years at Bishop McCarthy Residence. She enjoyed reading and playing cards. Her greatest enjoyment was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Archie Ricci, her beloved son Ronald Ricci whom she cared for with devotion and love for many years and daughter in-law MaryAnn Ricci. her daughter Janice Hontz of Washington Township.
