Obituary of Eladia Rial
Eladia Lily Rial 96 of Minotola died Tuesday at Bishop McCarthy Residence. She was born December 20, 1911 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico to the late Modesto and Petra (Escobar) Ramos, where she attended school before moving to New York City in 1926 where she and her husband owned and operated several corner grocery stores before moving to Milmay in 1947 where they operated a poultry farm until their retirement. Lily was employed as a seamstress for the Hoover Clothing Company in Minotola for ten years. She was a member of the Buena Senior Center and the Parkview Gardens Community Association where she had many friends. She enjoyed her family, cooking, baking, and sewing for her family and the bus trips to the Casinos. She looked forward to her afternoon coffee breaks with her dear and close friends. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and a true friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
Lily is survived by three daughters, Julia Tartaglia of Vineland, Nora and her husband Louis Nunziato Sr. of Forest Grove, and Mildred Rial of Minotola. Also surviving are her grandchildren Andrew Tartaglia, and his wife Kathy, Sam Tartaglia, Louis Nunziato Jr., Joseph and Robert Nunziato, Gina Tyson and her husband Sydney, Jennifer Crowell and her husband Scott, Lauren and Elyssa Horner, Great-Grandchildren: Amanda, Andrea, Dominic, Brittany, and SamTartaglia, Jillian and Joelle Nunziato, Eladia Ladi and Sophia Crowell, Great-Great Grandson; Amaray Phillips. Sister-in-law, Ana Ramos of Puerto Rico. She also had several nieces and nephews and her dear and close friends "Raffie", Pearl, Tony, and Lena.
She is predeceased by husband of 60 years, Eugenio (Gene) Rial in 1988. Predeceased Brothers, Esteban, Cirilo, Evaristo Ramos and Louis Escobar. Predeceased sisters: Josephina Vega and Dominga Ramos and Son-in-law Andrew Tartaglia and her dear cousin, Carmen De la Victoria who was like another sister.
A Church Visitation will be held Friday from 9 to 11 am followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11 am in the Queen of Angels Parish The Church of St. Michael 504 West Avenue, Minotola New Jersey.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery Union Road, Vineland
