Obituary of Helen Randel
Helen Randel passed away June 23 at South Jersey Regional Medical Center after a lenghty illness. Helen was born in Poland to the late Charles and Esther Berlin and moved to the United States in 1950. She resided in Vineland since 1981 where she met and married Isadore Randel, her husband of 58 years. Helen was a member of Haddassah and The Sisterhood at Beth Israel, Hebrew Women's Benevelent Society. She supported many other organizations.
She was a survivor of Alsutch Holocaust concentration camp.
Helen enjoyed sewing, knitting and reading and spending time with her family.
In the early 1970's Helen was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and was compasstionately cared for by her husband Issy, at her residence until the time of her passing.
She will be missed and loved by her family and friends.
Helen is survived by her son Harry and wife, grandchildren Amanda and Jessica of Merion Pa., Pamela Randel, siser-in-law Erna Tatarka and neices and nephews.
She is predeceased by her son Arnold Randel, DMD and broher Mike Berlin.
Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Beth Israel Congregation with Rabbi Alfredo Winter officiating and with Dr. Murray J. Kohn and Rabbai Yisroel Rapoport concelebrating.
Burial will be at Alliance Cemtery, Gershal Ave., Norma, NJ
