Obituary of John Prechodzen

John Alexander Prechodzen 86 of Vineland formally of Linden NJ passed away Monday July 13, 2009 in the New Jersey Memorial Home in Vineland after an extended illness. Born in Orange NJ to the late Alexander and Pauline (Masser) Prichodyen before moving to Linden. John was employed for Scovill Apparel in Newark as a delivery driver for several years. He was a United States Army Veteran during WW II serving in the Normandy Northern France Ardennies and Rhineland Centeral Europe holding the rank of Technician Fifth Grade. John was a member of the American Legion and the VFW of Clark NJ and the Mens Club of Linden. He enjoyed reading, especially about history. John was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Helen (Degyo) Prechodzen. He is survived by 2 Nieces, 1 Nephew, 4 Great Nephews, and 3 Great Nieces. Also surviving are several Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.
