Obituary of Lucille Pettisani

Lucille (Magolda) Pettisani, 72, of Longport, passed away on February 16, 2010, after a long, courageous battle. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Frank A. Pettisani She was the daughter of the late Dr. Anthony and Laura (Camilli) Pettisani. Lucille relished her role as matriarch of the family. She was happiest entertaining family and friends in her dream home on the ocean. Lucille was respected by all who kewn her for her sharp intellect, wit, and strong will . She was raised in Vineland, and attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and High School. At Cathollic University in Washington, D.C. she was Managing Editor of "The Tower," the University newspaper, Princess of the Cotillion, Pledge Mistress of Kappa Tau Gamma. After marrying, Lucille joined her husband in establishing and operating his dental practive which later became OraCare. She was chair of the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs, President ot the local chapter of the Junior League for many years and President of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
