Robert Pericone, "Bob", 76, of Clearwater, Florida, formally of East

Vineland, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Mease

Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida.

Bob was the son of the late John and Mary (Franceschi) Periconi and the

husband of Frances Corathers. He was born and raised in Vineland and

graduated from Vineland High School in 1951.

Bob worked many years as a dispatcher for Vineland Transit Mix.

He retired in 1979 and in 1983; Bob and his wife started spending winters in

Florida. In 1998, they became permanent residents of Clearwater where Bob

would enjoy many years going to the horse racing track and meeting with

friends for a good laugh. Bob loved life to the fullest. He was an avid

baseball fan especially cheering for the Phillies and the Rays. Bob always

enjoyed a good conversation. One of his favorite pastimes was going to the

park to meet with friends, new and old.

Bob is predeceased by his brothers Alfred (John) and Wilbur (Buddy) Periconi

and a sister Irene Guida. His cherished dog Peppermint also precedes him in

death.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years Frances, brother Leroy

(Doodle) Periconi, sister Beatrice Bergonzi and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery

in East Vineland.
