Obituary of Luz A. Perez

Luz A. Perez, 69, of Vineland, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at South Jersey Regional Medical Center. She was born in Manati, Puerto Rico to the late Benedicta (Rodriguez) and Juan Perez. She resided in Landisville in the 1970's; and moved to Vineland after retiring from Bally's Casino where she was employed for 14 years. Luz enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She attended Our Lady of Victories Church in Landisville. She is survived by daughter, Doris Ruiz, of Vineland; 3 grandsons, Carlos, Jonathan and Giovanni Colon, great-granddaughter Aneisa Colon, all of Vineland; brothers, Aristide, Hector, Orlando and Walter Perez, and brother, Julio C. Garcia of PR; 4 sisters, Consuelo, Noemi, Nydia Perez, and sister Esther Garcia all of PR. A funeral home visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Rone Funeral Service, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
