Obituary of William D. Molloy
William D. Molloy Sr., 85 of Buena NJ passed away Friday Feb 19 at home
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bill was raised in Ventnor, NJ attending St. James Elementary School and Holy Spirit High School. In 1950 he graduated from LaSalle College with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He was a combat veteran of World War II and a proud member of the Army Air Corp's 12th Air Force. He was awarded multiple air medals in combat conditions. Bill and Regina settled in Levittown, PA to raise their family and then returned to NJ first living in Folsom and then Buena. He spent his career in the power transmission business and in 1990 retired from Maurey Mfg., Chicago, IL as District Sales Manager.
Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Regina C. Molloy, Buena Vista Township, NJ; son & wife, Capt William D. & Anne Molloy Jr. USN (ret), Bedford, NH; daughter & husband, Regina "Tish" & Mark Eschbacher, Glenmoore, PA; daughter & husband, Amy M. & Al Cordasco, Cherry Hill, NJ; daughter , Moira Molloy, Reading , PA;; grandchildren, Katie & Husband Bryon, Meghan, Moira, Eugen, Alin, Ramona & Husband Joe And Sean; great- grandchildren, Jakob & Fynn; many nieces, nephews & cousins, predeceased parents, John & Jane (Donnelly) Molloy; predeceased grandson (1979), Dennis Michael Molloy.
A church visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:30 am to 12 pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm from Queen Of Angels Parish At Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Interment will follow in Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor at 2pm
